My Mission
At D1 Mentality, our mission is to be the trusted partner for parents navigating the college athlete journey. I work with middle school and high school student-athletes to develop elite mental performance, strong academic discipline, and college-level habits—so families can feel confident their athlete is prepared, supported, and on the right path to success.
Our Results
Since founding D1 Mentality in 2016, Gary McDonald has guided 100% of our student-athletes—250+ and growing—to academic and athletic scholarships.
The difference is mental performance. When parents commit and passionate athletes (ages 12–17) follow our proven blueprint, confidence replaces doubt, effort becomes focused, and goals become achievable.
